Mobile marketing channel HooHaa has signed up TradeMe as the latest company to accept credit from its accounts on a monthly basis. TradeMe joins others such as Vodafone, Telecom and Pago as designated credit transfer partners for HooHaa members. TradeMe advertising director Michael Gregg said HooHaa members, like Trade Me members, are online-savvy and digitally literate, so there is a lot of crossover. “The relationship is a great fit for both companies.”

Meanwhile, HooHaa has welcomed two new staff. Adrian Lepou joins as senior account manager from London Music Group where he was GM, specializing in campaign creatives for radio, online and TV production on clients such as L’Oreal and Fortune 500. At HooHaa, he’ll focus on corporate clients and media. Andy Dye also joins as senior account manager after selling high-end real estate for Barfoot and Thompson. He’s also appeared as Handy Andy on TV shows such as Changing Rooms. He’ll focus on the media side of the business. HooHaa country manager Jeremy Foster said in the company’s 18 months in the business, it’s grown a community of more than 80,000.
